Depart from Lijiang Old Town in the morning and head to Tiger Leaping Gorge (Shangri-La section), a spectacular canyon on the Jinsha River known for its steep cliffs. Experience the awe-inspiring power of nature with a visit to this site. After approximately 2 hours of exploration, proceed to Lashi Lake. At Lashi Lake, begin with a horseback ride along the Ancient Tea Horse Road, a journey through pristine forests and ancient Naxi villages, recreating the glorious history of the ancient horse caravans. After approximately 1 hour of horseback riding, arrive at Lashi Lake Wetland Park, the first nature reserve in Yunnan Province named after "wetland."
