It was launched by Zhang Xueliang and Yang Hucheng, patriotic generals within the Kuomintang who advocated resistance against Japan. December 12th Xi'an Incident is a monumental performance project presented by the Huaqing Palace Scenic Area of Shaanxi Tourism Group. The play is staged at Huaqing Palace, where the "Xi'an Incident" broke out. Through ten scenes including Beacon Fire Ancient City, Intensified Conflicts, Hasty Conspiracy, Arrow on the String, Ready for Battle, The Battle is Imminent, Gunfire at Dawn, United Front, and Vicissitudes of Life, the play utilizes high-tech stage techniques, combined with cinematic and dramatic art forms, to realistically and vividly reproduce the little-known historical truth of the "Xi'an Incident." December 12th Xi'an Incident Large-Scale Live-Action Movie Painting pioneered the "movie painting" program presentation form in China. It highly integrates landscape scenery, historical scenes, and high-tech three-dimensional stage installations. It uses high-end technology lighting, sound, mechanical equipment, multimedia projection technology, theater technology, and montage and other cinematic techniques to achieve a creative effect of integrating modern technology with cultural landscape and film images with stage drama.
