Description
In the Hojo (main hall), the founder of our temple, Zen Master Muin Sōin (the third abbot of Myoshin-ji Temple), is enshrined as the principal image. Near the Hojo, you can see "Motonobu's Garden," created by the great painter Kano Motonobu during the Muromachi period, and the oldest ink painting in Japan, the National Treasure "Hyō鯰図 (Catfish and Gourd)" (replica) by Josetsu. Also, please take a leisurely stroll through the "Yokō-en" strolling pond garden, where seasonal trees and flowers add vibrancy. Please be sure to present your voucher on a smartphone or other device with internet access.
