Asahiyama Zoo & Furano & Biei & Bibai Snow Park (Departing from Sapporo)

Description

Asahiyama Zoo's "Behavioral Exhibition" aims to convey the greatness, beauty, and preciousness of animals. Through these exhibits, visitors can observe animals moving, swimming, jumping, and preying in near-natural environments, experiencing a sense of realism and vitality that is difficult to find elsewhere. In addition, the zoo offers a number of popular winter-only activities. A Winter Fairytale Experience: Penguin Walk When the snow accumulates, Asahiyama Zoo holds the "Penguin Parade" in winter, allowing visitors to admire the natural姿態 of penguins up close. As the start of snowfall varies each year, the specific timing of the penguin walk may change, and depending on the penguins' physical condition, it may not be possible to see it during every visit. In previous years, the event has been held from late December to mid-March, only during the snowy season. Located in Bibai City in central Hokkaido, "Bibai Snow Land" is a winter wonderland where pure white snowscapes and magnificent nature intertwine. In this silver world, both adults and children can participate in a variety of activities and rediscover their childlike wonder. Gliding through the powder snow under a clear winter sky is exhilarating, and running through the snowfields with family and friends will create unforgettable memories. Activities such as mini snowmobiles and four-wheel buggies allow you to drive across the vast snowfields and enjoy the freedom of running on the snow. Bibai Snow Land is the best place to experience the charm of winter in Hokkaido and enjoy playing in the snow to the fullest.
