At Phuket's first ethical elephant sanctuary, you'll meet rescued elephants in a 30-acre tropical jungle that provides a new home for retired working elephants. This high-welfare sanctuary, focused on animal welfare, allows you to observe the elephants as they roam, bathe, forage, and socialize freely in their natural environment. Knowledgeable guides will share the unique stories of each elephant and offer insights into Asian elephant conservation. You'll also have the chance to visit the island's first elephant hospital, offering professional veterinary care to the 13 resident elephants and others across Thailand. The trip includes welcome refrshments for all tours, and a delicious vegetarian Thai buffet with soft drinks (half day tour only), making for a fulfilling and ethical experience.
